You may need more battery life on your next flight.
After months of safety testing, the Federal Communications Commission sent a letter to the Federal Aviation Administration to change the current policy of asking passengers to turn off electronic devices during takeoffs and landings.
How great would it be to not have to wait for the captain to announce that it is safe to turn on allowed electronic devices? This means that you can use your smartphone to finish that level in Star Wars Angry Birds or finish reading that magazine on your iPad uninterrupted.
While the FAA is officially stating it will review the policy, we can’t help but wonder how long it will be before passengers run out of smartphone battery during longer flights. The best solution is, of course, a PowerSkin.
